Life-The Teenage Years

Morbid thoughts fill my head
I think I should already be dead
But I keep on living, keep on feeling
The loneliness, the darkness sends me reeling
But is this real or just a dream
to find my life ripped at the seam
I don't know you but you know me
I'm in every nightmare, every dream
The love, the hate, sorrow and joy
the pain of life, God's clever ploy
but do you enjoy
like your favorite toy
oh, boy
you annoy

I'm life, I'm love
sadness and hate
I beg, I plead
I dominate
Why do you know me?
How can you not?
I'm not just me
I'm all you've got
But do you know me?
You should, it's true
Inside and out
because I'm you
